Military Veterans and Families

We are honored to serve those who have served us.

Kettering University is proud to support military families! We invite those on active duty, released from active duty, active reserve, inactive reserve, and dependents of military servicemembers to join the ranks at a school that is prepared to deliver an education that is vital for future success.

Veterans from Kettering University

Ross ‘09 and Keely Bosn ‘10 didn’t want an ordinary life in an office. After studying Mechanical Engineering at Kettering University they both chose a life of adventure and challenge in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy.  “Joining the military was our way of wanting to help and do our part in serving the country,” Ross said. “In the military you’re always putting yourself in a position you weren’t fully ready for, but that’s the point. It helps you grow. It’s a humbling experience to be put in a position of great responsibility.” | Full story.

Brad Herd ‘19 chose Kettering for hands-on experience after 10 years in the United States Army

“One thing that appealed to me about Kettering is the emphasis on manufacturing and engineering which I wanted to experience because I like to work with my hands. When I got the tour on campus, I realized there are so many assets here that it blew me away.” | Full Story
