Welcome to the
Kettering University Graduate School
Kettering University has a global reputation as a leader in applied research and automotive technology. Kettering faculty are world class and actively engaged in research. As a result, they are well suited to train the engineers, scientists and tech savvy business leaders of the future.
There is a great deal of unique research infrastructure available on campus. For example, Kettering University operates an industry recognized Crash Lab Facility. Since 2012, Kettering University faculty have received twelve Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) awards from the National Science Foundation, more than any other Michigan-based institution of higher education in this period.
An Advanced Mobility Research Center has been recently constructed within the campus footprint. This 21-acre research space combines a three-acre seamless dynamic skid pad connected to a series of handling loops that provide changes in elevation and gradation. Throw in a 4G LTE wireless cellular research network and the net result is a state-of-the-art Proving Ground, perfect for testing vehicle to vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to infrastructure (V2X) technology.
A Kettering graduate education is designed to not only prepare you for a productive career but also provide a potentially transformational life experience. Imagine participating in an industrial or government funded research project, working as a summer intern with one of Kettering’s leading industrial partners, being part of a student led competition such as the AutoDrive Challenge or simply networking with Kettering alumni, many of whom (1000+) are currently serving as a C-Level corporate executive.
Funding your graduate education has never been easier. Kettering University offers a number of financial resources and programs. The Graduate Assistantship (GA) program for example, provides support in the form of teaching or research assistantships and stipends. Kettering Graduate Tuition scholarships are also available on a competitive basis to highly qualified students.
We are thrilled that you are considering Kettering University to further your graduate education. As Graduate Dean, I strongly encourage you to take the first step towards transforming your life and apply to a Kettering University graduate program today.
