Camp Compass
Camp Compass is an optional 2.5 day off-campus leadership development opportunity available to new undergraduate students before beginning their first term at Kettering University. Join other new students and upper-class student leaders to learn leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills, while orienting to campus life.
✚ Transportation from Kettering University is provided.
✚ All participants living in Thompson Hall will have the opportunity to move-in the afternoon of our departure.
✚ Learn leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
✚ Participate in fun activities such as high and low ropes, climbing walls, and cooperative initiatives.

Orientation
Our Orientation program is designed to provide new students with information and social opportunities to assist in a smooth transition to Kettering University.
The mandatory program is called COMPASS, Campus Orientation Meetings to Prepare for Academic and Social Success, and takes place on campus during the four days before the first day of class in Summer and Fall. Students starting class in Winter and Spring, will attend a one day orientation the Friday before classes begin.
