Our Robotic Roots

Kettering University has been active in FIRST and VEX Robotics for more than 20 years. The University houses a FIRST Community Center, hosts robotics competitions, awards robotics scholarships and offers pre-college and other robotics programs. Students at Kettering pursue robotic interests in academic programs, compete in collegiate robotics and serve as mentors for K-12 robotic teams.

FIRST Fall Workshops - 2022

Students and mentors are invited to join us in the Robotics Center for any of the 20 workshops on October 8 and 15.

VEX Robotics is educational robotics for everyone.

Our programs serve everyone from first graders to high school.

Kettering Kickoff

The Kettering Kickoff is a popular annual contest that matches the robots from last season’s FIRST Robotics with this year’s high school teams. It was held September 18-19.

Kettering University students love robotics and so much more. We have competitive teams in Combat Robotics, Esports, and SAE competitions including Formula, Autodrive, Baja and Clean Snowmobiling.
