Kettering's academic programs are offered through the College of Engineering, the College of Sciences and Liberal Arts, the School of Management, the Graduate School and Kettering Online. We offer 13 undergraduate degree programs and 11 graduate programs including 5 fully online degrees. Our 12 academic departments include more than 120 full-time faculty who specialize in fields from cancer research to renewable energy to fuel cells to entrepreneurship. Since 2010, our faculty have received 11 Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) grants from the National Science Foundation, the most of any university in Michigan during that time.

Academic Leadership

The Office of the Provost oversees all aspects of the academic mission and student life at Kettering University.

The Office of the Dean of the College of Engineering oversees the academic efforts for the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering department, and the Mechanical Engineering department.

The Office of the Dean of the College of Sciences and Liberal Arts oversees the academics in the departments of Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Liberal Studies, Mathematics, and Physics.

The Office of the Dean of the School of Management oversees the academic programs offered through the Business department.

The Office of the Dean of the Graduate School and Research oversees on-campus graduate programs and research.
