Kettering University celebrated the success of the Boldly Forward Capital Campaign with a small reception Sept. 24 in the Learning Commons.
Nearly 100 people who made gifts of $10,000 or more toured the facility, made possible with $45.4 million in donations raised during the campaign. Guest learned about the impact of the 6,266 donors who established student scholarships, helped strengthen precollege programs like AIM, LITES and robotics, funded new faculty positions, and provided unrestricted support during the campaign.
The Boldly Forward Capital Campaign is the largest in the history of Kettering University, with alumni and friends, corporations, and foundations contributing $155 million between July 1, 2012, and Dec. 31, 2021.
“Many of us owe our success to what we learned at Kettering, and many alumni chose to give back to the University through the Boldly Forward Capital Campaign,” said Dr. Gary L. Cowger ʼ70, chair of the Boldly Forward Capital Campaign. “Along with alumni, many companies, foundations and individuals view Kettering as a leader in co-op education that graduates students ready to enter the workforce with years of experience. Their dollars will make a huge difference to the University and its students today and in the future. We greatly appreciate the support of all donors.”
Thank you for your generosity. It enables Kettering University to move Boldly Forward through the Learning Commons with new scholarships, innovative program opportunities for current and prospective students, and the resources to innovate in myriad ways.
