Sam Aljarrah

Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering

Osama "Sam" Aljarrah received his B.S. from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2006, his M.B.A. from Yarmouk University in 2013, and his Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Science and Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2021. His doctoral research focused on data-driven surrogate modeling for the prediction, simulation, and optimization of additive manufacturing processes. In June 2023, he joined Kettering University's Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering as an Assistant Professor. His research methods include simulation modeling, digital twins, evolutionary computation, and machine learning. He applies these methods to additive manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing systems.
