Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering

Dr. Ren earned her Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering from Northeastern University in China in 2013. Subsequently, she relocated to North Carolina to pursue her doctoral studies in Industrial Engineering. Upon completing her Ph.D. in 2023, she took up a position as an assistant professor in the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering department at Kettering University. Also in 2023, Dr. Ren was awarded a research award from Kettering University. Her research focuses on Printed Electronics, Additive Manufacturing, Flexible Electronics, 4D Printing, and Structural Design.
