Lecturer of Physics

Michael J. Obsniuk started at Kettering in 2016. His broad research interests are in the areas of Computational Introductory Physics and Physics Education. He is passionate about advancing logical and computational thinking at the introductory level.

"I'm constantly surprised and inspired by the wide variety of projects Kettering students take on. From designing equipment for automotive safety testing during their co-op, to spending their free time 3D-printing a Lego car at 300% scale just for the challenge of it, my students never seem to disappoint."

Computational Physics Education

My favorite thing about being a faculty member at Kettering is the opportunity to engage with motivated students while teaching the intro physics courses.

In my spare time, I enjoy working on carpentry and construction projects.
