Jamal Alhiyafi

Assistant Professor of Computer Science

Dr. Jamal Alhiyafi received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (CS) from Wayne State University in 2010. He received his M.S. in Software Engineering and B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan- Dearborn in 2002 and 2000, respectively. He also received a Graduate Certificate in Scientific Computing from Wayne State University in 2006.   Dr. Alhiyafi has 10+ years of experience in the industry environment before moving to academia.   His current research interests are in the fields of Machine Learning, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, and Health Informatics.
