Professor of Computer Science

Giuseppe Turini is a Professor of Computer Science at Kettering, where he started working in 2012.  His broad research interests are in the areas of computer graphics, computer vision, VR-AR, HMI-HCI, game development, and interactive physics simulation.

His current research projects focus on both serious games and mixed reality, and the application of these techniques to computer-assisted surgery, rehabilitation, and medical training.  Giuseppe is also passionate about teaching Computer Science with particular emphasis on coding skills, problem-solving techniques, and creative ideas.

Through his research activities in Europe and across campus, he continues to be a research associate at his alma mater's EndoCAS Research Center of the University of Pisa (Italy), his alma mater.  In addition, Giuseppe is the director of the "Virtual Reality Lab" at Kettering.

He really believes that through teaching, we can actually change the world.
