Are you hungry for more knowledge about nanotechnology or want to learn how to create a life-saving medical device?

In our Applied Physics minor program, you will learn how to apply optics, acoustics and materials in fields such as nanotechnology, telecommunications, medical physics and devices, and advanced and electronic materials.

Your required coursework includes 16 credit hours in the areas of vibration, modern physics, theoretical mechanics, solid state physics, thermodynamics and statistical physics, quantum physics and nuclear physics.
