Good news. The University is launching a new Data Science Master’s Degree in Fall 2021 in the College of Sciences and Liberal Arts.
The program is based on the growing trend in industry of the “democratization of data,” where organizations are pushing the competencies of Data Science and Analytics into various sub-disciplines within the corporation where decisions based on data are made.
The program provides a fusion of statistical and computing technologies including data mining, machine learning, cloud computing with electives in the areas of Management and Engineering such as Supply Chain Management and Enterprise Resource Planning.
The program – which will offers an online version simultaneously – offers students the option of a capstone project or working with a Co-op partner.
