Computer Engineering Camp students

Computer Camps

The 2021 camps are complete. Please check back later this year for information on the 2022 camps.

Designed for students with at least intermediate programming or robotics experience, this camp will provide an interactive deep-dive into the field of computer engineering. Students will learn how to configure and program a single-board computer and communicate with various electronic devices, such as a webcam, motor, and robotic sensors. Students will also be challenged to build and program a small-scale autonomous vehicle that is controlled by a single-board computer and additional sensors.

Note: CE Camp 1 is not required for this camp but is recommended as it will provide helpful context for CE Camp 2.

Grades: 9-12

Gain the skills needed to help solve one of the world’s greatest challenges-cybersecurity. During this camp, students will participate in hands-on team exercises where they learn about encryption, email phishing, and vehicle security. Students will also be exposed to a real cyberattack scenario, hear exciting stories from cybersecurity experts, and learn about career options in the cybersecurity field. Note: Prior knowledge of cybersecurity is not required; however, a background in math, science, and computing will be useful.

Cost is dependent on whether it is a day or residential camp.
