Join Professor Dewberry's crash course in 3D printing where prospective students will use the CAD program SolidWorks to convert a picture of their choosing into a 3D print. While only the prospective students will be able to make a 3D print, parents are welcome to sit in on the course and participate in the rest of the event. During the event you will tour the classrooms, laboratories, residence hall, and recreation facility as well as have lunch on us. Come and learn about Kettering University and our cooperative experiential learning program!

12:30 p.m. Overview of Kettering University

1:15 p.m.  Campus tour with a Kettering University guide.

Tour will include:

2:30 p.m. See the 3D printers in action and ask Professor Dewberry your final questions

Bulldog Days

If you are looking to visit Kettering University during a small scale group event, we have multiple Bulldog Days to choose from:

Bulldog Days include group tours of campus, admissions presentation and some optional social activities.  One of the options includes tickets to Kettering University’s Centennial Fest (July 20) that offers live bands and artists throughout the afternoon including headliner T-Pain.

4 p.m. Centennial Fest

If you and your family want to participate in the Kettering University Centennial Event please check out Centennial Fest as activities will be happening before and after Bulldog Day event. 

Each family can have a maximum of four tickets (tickets are limited so first to register will be given priority). 

Kettering Centennial activities:

  • Car show
  • Family fun activities
  • Food trucks
  • Live bands and artist throughout the afternoon including headliner T-Pain

Discover is Kettering University’s open house event — designed to introduce you to all we have to offer!  It’s your chance to tour the classrooms, laboratories, residence hall, recreation facility and the dining hall (including complimentary lunch). Come learn more about Kettering’s cooperative experiential learning program. You will also have a chance to speak with faculty, staff and current students who will share how they are changing the world.  There are many fun activities for all family members to enjoy!

10 - 11 A.M. - CHECK-IN, REGISTRATION AND KETTERING EXPO

  • All of our academic departments in one place; ask the faculty about our majors, minors, concentrations and specialties.
  • Current students will be on hand to talk about organizations and clubs they belong to and what they do for fun.
  • Other departments are available including Admissions, Cooperative Education, Financial Aid, Office of Multicultural Student Initiatives, and Student Life.

10 A.M.- 1:30 P.M. -  VISIT KETTERING UNIVERSITY'S GM MOBILITY RESEARCH CENTER ROAD COURSE AND TEST PAD

  • Check out Kettering University's GM Mobility Research Center (MRC), an outdoor autonomous vehicle proving ground and lab.
  • You will have an opportunity to ride in Kettering's Bolt to view the Road Course and Test Pad.
  • The facility is the only one of its kind on a college campus in the country. The MRC is one of several unique spaces that Kettering students have access to.

11 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. - COMPLIMENTARY LUNCH AND GUIDED TOURS OF KETTERING'S RESIDENCE HALL

  • You will have a chance to sample the wonderful campus cuisine in the Sunrise Café.
  • Take a student led tour of Kettering's residence hall.

11 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. - KETTERING'S ACADEMIC BUILDINGS ARE OPEN

  • Visit with our faculty, staff, and students as you tour our laboratories and classrooms.
  • This is a great opportunity to learn more about our academic programs, co-op, and student life.

Celebrate Women in STEM at Kettering University! During the event you will tour the classrooms, laboratories, residence hall, and recreation facility. You will also meet current female students and faculty members. Enjoy lunch with us, participate in a STEM activity, and learn more about Kettering University, our students, our co-op program, student clubs/organizations and much more. This event is only for female high school students. Parents and family members may choose to attend if they please. Register soon as space is limited.
