Kettering University and corporate partners work together to identify and admit top undergraduate STEM degree-seeking candidates.

Partner Program Admissions

Students initiate the process by following the standard Kettering University application process for undergraduate degree candidates. Students are encouraged to apply by May 1 of the year in which they wish to enroll.

Lear Scholars Program

(For the children of Lear employees worldwide)

We partner with Lear Corporation on an undergraduate admissions program for children of Lear employees worldwide who may apply for admission to major in one of the following programs:

  • Applied Biology
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Applied Physics
  • Biochemistry
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Engineering Physics
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Lear will offer co-op employment for up to six new students each year. Get more information.

Lear candidates are required to apply for financial aid.

Domestic Students

All US accepted applicants are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA.) Learn more about US student scholarship and need-based aid.

International Students

Non-US applicants are required to complete the International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA) and a Kettering-supplied affidavit of support. Please note US immigration regulations require all student visa applicants to document the sources of their educational funds.
