Check out the surrounding area

Within the city and downtown there are things to do and places to see, such as the Flint Institute of Arts, the Farmer’s Market, and several local restaurants. You’re only about an hour away from concert and theater venues, museums, professional sports and more in Detroit or Lansing. A trip to Canada is less than an hour and a half away. If you’re into exploring the outdoors, spend a weekend traveling through Northern Michigan or checking out one of the Great Lakes.
