Pursuing a Minor

Supplementing the rigors of Kettering University's academic degree programs with a minor can provide students with more career opportunities. Minors are concentrated areas of study outside the student's major obtained by completing at least four courses within the directed area of study.

Coursework for a Minor

A minor requires a minimum of four classes (16 credits) in a directed area of study.  Minors may also require coursework in a student's degree program beyond the minimum of 41 classes (161 credits) required for completion of the degree.

Students wishing to declare a minor should consult the head of the department or a faculty advisor in the department offering the minor.
