English As A Second Language And Robotics - University Partners

This two-week summer camp for freshmen and sophomores at our international partner universities. 

University-level international students experience college life on a US campus while learning about robotics.

In the first week, participants will receive 18 hours of English instruction. The instruction will focus on technical language and interpersonal communication which is needed for working in a team and competing in a robotics event.

In the second week, participants will divide into two teams, design, and make their own robot, and at the end of the week use their robot to compete in a game. In addition, participants will engage in a variety of other cultural activities and excursions at Kettering, in Flint and in Michigan.

Program Fees: $1820 (Costs includes 13 nights of room and board plus main activities.

Grades: University-level freshmen and sophmores.
