The goal of the summer camp is to expose students to various cybersecurity topics. They learn about information security and privacy, cyber forensics, and understand correct and safe on-line behavior. 

Kettering University offers a cyber security summer camp for students in grades 6-12.

During the camp, students will participate in various hands-on team exercises and games to learn about different topics such as encryption techniques, password management, email phishing, cyber-ethics, cybersecurity principles, cybercrimes, mobile, and vehicle security. The students will be exposed to real cyber-attack and hear exciting stories from cybersecurity experts. The students will also learn and get information on the cybersecurity job market and career options.

Prior knowledge of computers and cybersecurity is not required. It is helpful to have a background in math and science and a strong interest in computing and cybersecurity.

Program Fee:  $750 (includes five nights of room, board and t-shirt), $450 day camp
