This highly interactive hands-on camp is especially designed for middle school students. The camp includes projects to illustrate the significant role computer science plays in every aspect of our everyday lives. Students will work on hands-on coding projects that include website creation. In addition students learn:

  • how images are stored and processed,
  • how virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) work,
  • about information security and cyber forensics,
  • correct and safe on-line behavior, and
  • what happens during a real cyber-attack through hands-on team exercises.

The camp is taught by computer science faculty who are experts in their field.
