Convocation ceremonies July 24 set the stage for the presentation of the top Greek Life awards presented at Kettering University.

Convocation ceremonies July 24 set the stage for the presentation of the top Greek Life awards presented at Kettering University. Events included an address by University President James E.A. John.

Chris Jensen, director of Student Activities and Greek Life, and students Demetra Matsko, president of the Greek Council, and Dave Garbarino, vice president of the Greek Council, presented various Greek awards.

Outstanding Chapter Advisers of the Year

These recipients were nominated by their chapters and selected by fraternity and sorority alumni.

Outstanding Chapter Presidents of the Year

The Outstanding Chapter President award is given to people who have made outstanding contributions to their chapters. This year's recipients are

The Dean's Cup, Outstanding Chapter of the Year
The Dean's Cup was created to recognize outstanding programming in all levels of the chapter. This is the highest award a chapter can win at Kettering University. The Dean's Cup recipients were chosen from the chapters qualifying for the Chapter Excellence award. These chapters exemplify fraternity and sorority life not only on campus, but also in the community. This year's winners:
