The Major Sobey Memorial Golf Outing - one of Kettering's most important scholarship fund-raisers - was big last year but is expected to be on par with a hole in one in 2001!

Just 20 spots left!!! To date, 268 golfers have signed on for one of Kettering's most important scholarship fund-raisers of the year. The duffers are ready to hit the links at two of the most popular golf courses in Southeast Michigan. The Major Sobey Memorial Golf Outing is moving onto two exceptional "Pick of the Public" courses.

Both have been named to the Top Ten list published in "Crain's Detroit Business Golf Guide."

"We're very excited about this year's Major Sobey Memorial Golf Outing," said Rhonda Sullivan, coordinator of the annual event. "We've selected courses that are closer to our alumni in Southeast Michigan and on an elite list for their playability, service and amenities."
