Wanting to share in the accolades, Freddie Albrighton and Bill Ross of SKD Automotive Group traveled to Kettering to present four of their Kettering co-op students with medals and certificates for their role in a Honda American Team project "Wings of Change" at SKD.

Albrighton said SKD wanted to make sure the students received their recognitions since they weren't able to attend the official presentation at the Honda event due to the start of classes.

Jennifer Lux, Matt Branigan, Erin Abbott and Andy Van Haitsma worked on the "Wings of Change" project for SKD as part of a continuous improvement program at Honda. SKD is an automotive parts supplier for the automaker, making a variety of partsincluding floor pans, brake and clutch assemblies and rear bumpers.
