Kettering University has been named as one of the nation’s Top 50 Undergraduate Schools for Entrepreneurship Studies for 2021 by the Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine.

“Innovation and Entrepreneurship is not just a major or minor program at the Kettering University School of Management (SoM), rather the spirit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship resides at the core of all SoM undergraduate and graduate programs. It is the north star of our drive,” said Dr. Haseeb J. Ahmed, Interim Dean of the School of Management. “Whether manifested in bringing curricular changes or recruiting additional scholarly faculty, we not only connect the courses within the programs but establish clearly identifiable, interlocking relationships that span integrated management disciplines into the STEM fields.”

Receiving recognition from the Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine validates the high-quality of the program and the success of our students and faculty, Ahmed said.

The list, which is in its 15th year, is compiled based on data from more than 300 universities with offerings in entrepreneurship studies. 

Results are tallied based on more than 40 data points of the following categories: academic and requirements, students and faculty, alumni entrepreneurship ventures, outside the classroom, competitions hosted by the school/program, and scholarships and aid. Data points include course options, enrollment in those courses, the number of companies started by graduates in the last five years and types of financial aid available for entrepreneurship studies.

The School of Management offers undergraduate degrees in Management and graduate degrees in Operations Management, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, Tech Business Administration and Business Administration. It also offers concentrations in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management, Sustainable Solutions for Enterprise, Technology Leadership and Business Analytics.

In addition to being featured on The Princeton Review’s website, the list also will be featured in the December issue of Entrepreneur magazine.
