New role for Bob Nichols

Bob Nichols is Kettering's new director of External Affairs and associate to President Stan Liberty

Bob Nichols is back! Nichols, the former vice president for Corporate Relations and Enrollment Services, has returned to Kettering on a full-time basis after taking a few months off for medical reasons. His new title is director of External Affairs and associate to President Stan Liberty. He remains a member of President's Cabinet.

In this new role, he will develop and facilitate corporate, governmental and community partnerships, and he will partner with the President on special projects and initiatives. His responsibilities include the strategic development of Kettering's outreach efforts, especially related to corporate recruitment. He will work with a variety of local, state and national organizations and continue to be the lead liaison for Kettering with Automation Alley, Genesee Intermediate School District, Project Lead the Way, FIRST Robotics, and other partner organizations. He also is working to build more international co-op opportunities through strategic relationships with educational institutions and companies in the global economy.
