Johnson Electric joins Wall of Fame

Representatives of Johnson Electric were on campus to present their company logo for inclusion on the Kettering "Wall of Fame."

Johnson Electric was on campus recently to present Dr. John with their logo plate for inclusion in the Kettering Wall of Fame in the Great Court. On hand to present the cast steel logo was Paul J. DeMand '88, senior vice president for the Commercial Motor Group of Johnson Electric and Darin J. Bremmer, Engineering manager for Starter Motor at Johnson Electric.

In addition to Dr. Mark Wicks, Electrical Engineering Department chair, Bob Nichols, vice president for Enrollment Management and Dr. John, six co-op students for Johnson Electric were present. Johnson Electric is world leader in motors for automotive and commercial markets. Exporting its products to over 30 countries for over 100 applications, Johnson Electric has 1 billion annual production capacities.

The organization is structured into 3 business unit groups, the Commercial Motor Group (CMG), the Automotive Motor Group (AMG) and the Components & Services Group (C&S).
