Kettering University will delay opening June 21 due to a temporary cessation of water services. Campus will open for business at 10 a.m.

The City of Flint has informed Kettering that water services to the entire campus will be shut down temporarily on Monday, June 21, due to current road construction projects. Campus will delay opening until 10 a.m. and follow delayed opening procedures that are located at http://www.kettering.edu/visitors/about/emergency_closing_policy.jsp.

Port-a-johns will be available in the outdoor fleet parking area between the Campus Center and Mott Center. The City of Flint has said that after water services are restored, the water will be drinkable but may have sediment in it. We anticipate there will be additional outages during the week and will provide information as it becomes available. Direct any questions to Physical Plant at 810-762-9750.
