PAYING THE PRICE: Kettering is among the list of hosts when the Flint Area Public Affairs Debate Program presents "How Will We Pay For Increased Security?" from 7:30-9 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9.

The event is the second discussion in a two-part series exploring the price of securing America. It will be at the International Institute, 515 Stevens St. in Flint. Panel members are Dr. Charles Ballard, professor of economics at Michigan State University, James Brandell, chief of staff for U.S. Rep. David Camp (R-Midland), Genesee County Treasurer Dan Kildee and Earl Ryan, president of Citizens Research Council of Michigan. Moderator will be David Fenech, county extension director for MSU Extension-Genesee County.
