Kettering has been challenged by Mott Community College, the University of Michigan-Flint and Baker College to a contest to benefit the American Red Cross Blood Drive Program.

Kettering has been challenged by Mott Community College, the University of Michigan-Flint and Baker College to a contest to benefit the American Red Cross Blood Drive Program. The four Flint campuses have come together for the First "College Town Blood Battle." The four campuses have challenged each other for "bragging rights" on which campus can collect the most units of blood in September. Donors may give blood at any of the four sites and "sign up" for their favorite school. For more information, call Kettering's PR & Communications office at 800-955-4464, ext. 9533. The Blood Battle dates and times are: Sept. 12, Kettering University, noon to 6 p.m.; Sept. 18: Mott Community College, 1-6 p.m.; Sept. 19: University of Michigan, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Sept. 26, Baker College, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
