In 2017, Kettering University was once again the only district site in the United States to host back-to-back FIRST Robotics competitions from March 2-4 and March 9-11.”

Kettering University hosted over 80 FIRST Robotics team from across Michigan at back-to-back district competitions. This marked the 18th consecutive years that Kettering has hosted a FIRST Robotics competition on campus.

The competitions took place from March 2-4 and March 9-11. This year, the Ford Motor Company sponsored both competitions.
