Speed Mentoring is an evening event held during Kettering’s LITE program for high school women. Held on the second Thursday of this two week residential program, it offers the LITE participants an opportunity to meet and talk with women who have chosen engineering as a career path. Modeled after speed dating, this fun event is entertaining as well as informative and creates opportunities for LITE participants to connect with professional women.
Date: Thursday, July 26, 2012; 6-8:30 pm
Location: Kettering University Campus, Gold Room – 4th floor of the Campus Center
6 pm Dinner - meet the other women mentors for dinner, conversation and instructions.
7-8 pm Speed Mentoring Activity – LITE participants move through the room in groups of two or three for 3 minutes of sharing and advice from the alumnae. It is fast, fun, and full of energy.
8-8:30 pm Panel of “Experts” – Group Q & A session, always a highlight of the event.
