Kettering Awareness Program (KAP)

The “Kettering Awareness Program” (KAP) was created in 2011 by the Office of Pre-College Programs. It is a two-day event which gives Kettering University the opportunity to share information about our institution and enhance our recruitment efforts with Administrators, Principals, Counselors and Coordinators from various high schools from across the country.

MI-ACE Luncheon for Female Faculty, Staff & Students

Kettering University's MI-ACE Team brought you "The Celebration of Kettering Women" Empowerment & Collaboration this past March. Now we invite all Kettering female faculty, staff and students to join us for lunch on Thursday, November 21 from 12:15-1:15p in Room A, 4th floor CC, as we present Kettering's own Laura Sullivan who will speak on "Maximizing Mentorship" and Venetia Petteway who will speak on "The Knack of Networking". A Walk For Education

Members of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and community volunteers will go door to door in under-severed communities and hand out information on college, scholarship information, SAT/ACT preparation tools, NSBE and share information on the benefits of majoring in STEM fields. The walk starts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2. Volunteers will have a meeting before the walk at 9:45 a.m. in Room A in the Campus Center.

Modern Steel

On Monday, October 21, Mr. David Anderson, Senior Director of Automotive Technical Plan and Long Products Program, Steel Market Development Institute, will give a presentation on the subject Modern Steel. The presentation will be in AB 1-819 at 12:20 p.m.

Mr. Anderson’s presentation will cover the topics Automotive Market Trends, New Automotive Steels, Projections of Demand for New Steel Grades, FutureSteelVehicle and Can We Deliver?

All Kettering University faculty, staff and students are welcome.
