Service Saturday

We are partnering with our neighbors to ensure that our community is well taken care of and that we continue to show pride in our area.
We look forward to our second Service Saturday of the Summer and we hope to see you there! Waiver forms can be turned into Myra Rawls in the Student Life office.

HLC Self-Study Town Hall

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is scheduled to come for a reaccreditation visit in early 2014.  The University has written a self-study in preparation for the visit and we need your feedback!

The self-study covers the five criterions listed below:  

Criterion One – Mission

Criterion Two – Integrity: Ethical and Responsible Conduct

Criterion Three – Teaching and Learning: Quality, Resources, and Support

Good Reads Book Club Discussion

Summer term's book is Good Omens : The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch  by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

The discussion will take place on Thursday, September 12th, 2013 at 12:20 p.m.  Bring your lunch and join us in the library for an engaging discussion of the book and the author.  Already read the book? Join us anyway!

Come out and join the Theta Tau chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. celebrate 40 years of providing service and advocacy to the community this Saturday from 7 - 10 p.m. in University of Michigan-Flint's Michigan Rooms. Admission is $15.
