Our Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry provides you with a strong foundation in the principles of biologically-oriented chemistry, coupled with the unique experience of working several terms getting hands-on experience working with an industry partner in a Co-op experience.

You will take courses and laboratories in all of the major chemical sub-disciplines including organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and analytical chemistry.

You will also work closely with faculty members on research projects as part of their undergraduate education and training.

Along the way, you will receive an excellent foundation for careers in biotechnology, medicine, pharmacology, environmental fields, technical management, education, business and law.

While job forecasts for biochemists is average for the next decade, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, median salaries are around $95,000.
