What is Residence Hall Association?
Residence Hall Association (RHA) is a student-led organization that works closely with the Residence Life staff to produce positive changes in on-campus living. RHA plans and executes events, programs, and community service projects for resident enjoyment. In addition to planning enjoyable programs, RHA works toward being the residents’ voice and advocating residents’ issues to the Residence Life department.
Joining RHA is a great way to meet new friends and get involved with the issues that directly affect you and your “home.” The RHA experience will also provide outstanding opportunities to develop interpersonal, time management, and leadership skills that will prove to be useful in the future.
Elected within the first three weeks of the summer and fall terms, RHA consists of elected officials (President, Vice-President, Secretary, & Treasurer) and unit representatives.
Meetings are open to all Thompson Hall residents.
