Innovators Kettering Young Inventors

The Innovators Kettering Young Inventors program provides an exciting opportunity for young students (Grades 4-6) in Genesee County to create inventions and to present them to the community. This yearlong adventure in creativity encourages students to be problem solvers, critical thinkers, researchers, technical writers, scientists, evaluators and presenters. Students learn about invention through an engaging, high interest curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking skills, scientific inquiry and problem solving.

Michele Loper

Michele Loper has been with Kettering since 2001. She is the Director of Annual Giving. She works with individual gifts and donations from  alumni, friends,  faculty and  staff . She has held several positions at Kettering including Financial Aid Officer and Assistant Director of Academic Services.

Michele holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science degree from Kettering University.

Eve Vitale

Eve is responsible for finding and maintaining corporate and foundation partners who share Kettering’s mission and vision and procuring funding for the vital work done by the University’s faculty, staff and students.

In her previous position Eve was the Coordinator of High School Youth Ministry at the Church of the Holy Family in Grand Blanc. She holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Oakland University.
