The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) was created in an effort to increase the transferability of core college courses between community colleges and four‐year colleges and universities.

Other Statewide Transfer Articulation Agreements
Kettering University will now accept some statewide articulation agreement general education core requirements, toward meeting most of Kettering University's general education requirements. Official transcripts must indicate the state's designation has been met or completed. We currently have approved the statewide agreements from:
- Illinois (IAI or GECC)
- Indiana (STEGC)
- Ohio (OTM)
Effective July 1, 2021, Kettering University will now accept an associates degree toward meeting most of Kettering University's general education requirements.
