College of Engineering Advisory Council
The Advisory Council is comprised of 10 members and all but one are Kettering University alumni. Feedback from the Advisory Council leads to enhancements to the co-op programs, on-campus research programs, the course curriculum and additional activities for the College of Engineering.
Mike Brosseau
Former President
Brose North America, Inc.
Mike Brosseau was the President of Brose North America from June 2015 through February 2018. In that role, Mike was responsible for all North American operations, engineering, program management and market development.
Mike Brosseau holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy. He joined Brose in 1999 and held various positions responsible for global product teams and customer projects.
Mike serves on the Steering Committee of MICHauto, Michigan’s Automotive and Mobility Industry Association. He is active in growing FIRST Robotics in Michigan and is a member of the Governor’s Career Readiness Cross-Sector Team.
Denise Gray
President
LG Chem Michigan Inc. Tech Center
Denise Gray is President of LG Chem Michigan Inc. (LGCMI) Tech Center. LGCMI is the North American subsidiary of lithium-ion battery maker, LG Chem (LGC), Korea. In this position, she has overall responsibility for strategic direction, engineering and business development.
Prior to joining LG Chem, Gray served as Vice President of Electrification Powertrain Engineering at AVL List, GmbH in Austria, where she was responsible for leveraging AVL’s global capability to provide electrification engineering services to the automotive industry. Prior to that, Gray was Vice President of Business Development for an electrified powertrain battery startup company in California. The majority of her over 30-year professional career was spent at General Motors, where she spearheaded efforts in vehicle electrical and powertrain systems controls and software, including battery systems.
Gray’s experience in vehicle electrification has led to multiple keynote speaking and programming of major industry events, including the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technologies Symposium and the North American International Powertrain Conference (NAIPC), among others.
She also is active in several charitable organizations, including The March of Dimes, where she served as the organization’s Chair in 2016, 2017 and 2018 for the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) Charity Preview.
Mary Gustanski
Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer
Delphi Technologies, Inc.
A 38-year veteran of Delphi’s engineering team, Mary previously served as VP, Engineering & Program Management. Mary brings more than a decade of powertrain engineering expertise to her role as Chief Technology Officer.
Ms. Gustanski was recognized as one of the “100 Leading Women in the North America Industry” by Automotive News in 2010 and 2015.
Mary earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Electrical Engineering option as well as a master’ degree in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University (formerly GMI).
Doug Patton
Senior Technical Advisor
DENSO International America, Inc.
Doug Patton is currently Sr. Technical Advisor of Engineering which includes supporting program and technology development/integration into DENSO operations. In addition, he is establishing overall operational security protocols and procedures, from both facilities and product perspective. His previous responsibilities as Executive Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer of DENSO International America, Inc. (DIAM), and Senior Director of DENSO Corporation, provide the experience necessary to share both internal and external insights for the company’s future activates.
Located at DENSO’s North American headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, the engineering organization includes climate control, engine and systems components, engine electrical, safety products, cluster, in-vehicle-infotainment (IVI), body electronics, small motor engineering and North American research activates.
Patton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1977 and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1984, both from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
He serves as president of the DENSO Foundation Board, is on the Board of Directors for the Engineering Society of Detroit (currently president) and is also a Board member of SAE International, where he was the 2017 president. He is also an Engineering Society of Detroit Fellow.
Jason Roycht

Robert Bosch, LLC
Jason Roycht was named vice president and regional business leader of the Commercial Vehicle and Off-Road division of Robert Bosch LLC in July 2016. In this role, Roycht works with Bosch’s business units and sales organizations to guide the company’s growth strategy in North America, with a focus on cross-divisional opportunities and new technology.
Since joining Bosch in 1996, Roycht has held a series of sales, project management and engineering positions in the U.S. and in Germany. His most recent position with the company was vice president of sales for the Gasoline Systems division.
Roycht currently serves on the board of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association’s Off- Highway Business Forum.
Roycht earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kettering University in Flint, Michigan.
Brady Ericson
Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer
BorgWarner Inc.
Brady Ericson has recently been appointed to the role of Chief Strategy Officer.
Previously, Mr. Ericson was Vice President and Officer of the company and President and General Manager of BorgWarner Emissions Systems since September 2011.
Mr. Ericson has held positions of increasing responsibility since joining the company in 2000, including positions in senior engineering, sales, manufacturing and general management. His time with the company has been spent in the United States as well as on international assignments in Germany, Spain, South Korea and China.
Prior to his current position, he served as Vice President and General Manager of BorgWarner Emissions Systems, Vice President, Global Manufacturing Strategies for BorgWarner Turbo and Emissions Systems, Vice President, Operations - China and Korea for BorgWarner Turbo and Emissions Systems and several other operational, engineering and sales related positions.
Prior to joining BorgWarner, Mr. Ericson held various sales and engineering positions with Honeywell (formerly AlliedSignal) and Ford Motor Company.
Mr. Ericson holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and an MBA from Duke University.
Elizabeth Griffith
Director of Engineering
Faurecia Interior Systems
Spanning over 45 years in the automotive industry, Griffith’s career in the industry has been diverse. In her role as the Director of Engineering for Faurecia Interior Systems, Griffith supports a team of 14 people on the GM Global account. Some of her responsibilities include growing the business and developing customer relationships, achieving GM and Faurecia safety, quality and cost objectives and understanding the complex customer product systems to ensure that the product, processes and people are focused on success over the product execution timeline.
Before coming out of retirement to join Faurecia in 2010, Griffith held various positions - among them was Vice President of Advanced Engineering and Program Management - at Magna’s Intier Automotive from 2001-2007. Prior to that, Griffith was the Vice President of Engineering and Program Management at Peregrine Incorporated.
Griffith’s career began at General Motors, where she was part of the first large class of women to go through the General Motors Institute program. After graduating from the program in 1977, she held various positions within General Motors, including manufacturing general supervisor, platform program manager and chief manufacturing engineer of mechanical components and interiors.
Louis Infante

Louis Infante is currently consulting in the advanced vehicle and energy systems field. He is a former Vice President of Vehicle Engineering for Ricardo, Inc. and has extensive vehicle systems experience in on-highway, off-highway, military and speciality vehicle sectors. He has worked with clients on four continents as well as set up and operated businesses in South America.
Infante is a member of the Advisory Board for the Engineering School at Colorado State University, a US DoE program reviewer and a proposal evaluator for the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy department.
Ron Rath
Chief Executive Officer

Ron describes his work as growing shareholder value by building the TECAT team to develop and execute game changing strategies that deliver on the company Mission in alignment with the company Philosophy. Ron leverages his technical and consulting experience to make this happen.
For the past three years Ron has been part of the leadership team at TECAT. Ron’s focus is on insuring sufficient capitalization of the company, building the team with top talent, and nurturing the corporate culture.
For the previous 14 years he had been in management consulting where he supported clients by aiding in establishing and leveraging executive relationships between companies as well as transformation strategy development and delivery.
Additionally, Ron’s experience includes nearly 14 years in industry as an engineer and manager. Ron is well placed to appreciate and deal with the challenges facing startup companies like TECAT in a variety of industries. His career includes seven years at General Motors, and six years at Diesel Technology Company (a Bosch–Penske joint venture). He has worked in a variety of roles, from manufacturing engineer to business unit manager. At director level, he has provided leadership in areas such as technical services, strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Carla Sarti
VP, Global Business Services
Lear Corporation
Carla Sarti is the Vice President of Global Business Services at Lear Corporation – a position she has held since April 2018. Prior to this position she was Vice President of NonProduction Purchasing and before that Director of Shared Services.
Prior to Lear, she served as Account Executive at ACS, a Xerox company for six years where she acted as chief strategy officer and Director of Sales for many large accounts in the Finance and Accounting Outsourcing area. She spent five years at Delphi Corporation in numerous roles of increasing responsibility including managing the SAP environment after implementation and working as a Lean expert for the Cockpits business.
She also worked as a plant and divisional financial analyst at TRW for five years and an operational auditor at the Budd Company for two years. Carla received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kettering University (formerly GMI) and an MBA in Management from Walsh College. She is a certified Project Management Professional and also has Lean Manufacturing Green Belt certification.
Carla and her husband, Paolo and two children, Gabriella and Dominic reside in Washington Township. Carla has been on the board of directors for Haven since 2013 and was a Girl Scout troop leader for four years for her daughter’s troop.
