The Kettering University Archives is located on the first floor of the Campus Center at Kettering University and is temporarily closed to the public as of December 2015. Please contact Linda Pierce in the Library at 810-762-9840 if you have an information request.
The focus at the archives is to preserve and provide access to the history of Kettering University, the automotive industry, and Flint. Instrumental in the establishment of the Kettering/GMI Alumni Foundation Collection of Industrial History in 1974, Richard Scharchburg taught at the university for more than 35 years. Following his death in 2000, his collection was named in his honor.
