The career-focused education and Co-op Program you will get at Kettering University has been recognized as one of the best in the country because it focuses on preparing you for a career in your field after graduation. 

Experience what makes our college different and learn more about yourself in both an Admitted Student Program and our Spring Employment Fair.

All admitted students are encouraged to attend; you do not need a deposit to participate. It may feel a bit intimidating—do not worry we are here to help you at every step and provide tools & resources to support you.

Please Note: The March 19th event is in conjunction with the Employment Fair on Monday, March 20th.

10:00 A.M. - 11:25 A.M. Prep for Success Sessions: resume writing, interview tips and how to navigate the Spring Employment Fair  (30 minutes each) Meet Your Co-op Manager Sessions

11:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Meet Your Co-op Manager Sessions

12:00 P.M. - 1:25 P.M. Lunch

12:00 P.M. - 1:25 P.M. Expo (optional)

Admitted Students Program Scholarship

Amount
Up to $5,000 per year, non-renewable

Criteria: This scholarship is intended for Kettering University’s admitted, incoming new full-time students who are enrolling in an undergraduate program at Kettering University for the Summer or Fall 2023 term and who attended and participated in one of our Admitted Students Program events. These scholarships are applicable to tuition only; restrictions may apply.

Participation

Admitted students at Kettering University are invited to apply for the Admitted Student Program Scholarship. By participating in a Kettering University Admitted Students Program, five (5) students will have the opportunity to earn up to $5,000 for their first year at Kettering University. 

Requirements for consideration

  • Apply and be academically admitted as an undergraduate student to Kettering University by 11:59 p.m. EDT on March 19, 2023.
  • Have attended one of the Admitted Students Program events.
    • January 28, 2023
    • Feb 20, 2023
    • Mar 19, 2023
  • Submit a completed scholarship application by the deadline.
  • Draw upon your knowledge from the Admitted Student Program sessions and submit your written elevator pitch; maximum 250 words. An elevator pitch is a way to share your expertise and credentials quickly and effectively.
  • Financial need may be a consideration.

Deadline: April 1st at 11:59 p.m.

Accepted students can apply through Scholarship Universe.

Award recipients will be notified in writing via mail and the scholarship will be added to their financial aid package.

Overnight Options

Overnight options are available for each event. This is a great opportunity to connect with current and other future Bulldogs through ice breakers, games, and other on-campus activities. You will stay in Thompson Hall and eat dinner and breakfast the next morning at Kettering’s Battenburg Cafe. Parents and guardians can view our recommended off-campus accommodations below.
