The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is professional physics association explicitly designed for students. Membership is open to any student; the only requirement for membership is an interest in physics. Some of the goals of the society include (borrowed from the "seven roles of SPS")

The Kettering University chapter of SPS was established in April, 1998, and we anticipate installing a chapter of the physics honor society, Sigma Pi Sigma in the Winter of 2002. Please contact Dr. Russell (SPS Advisor) or any of the current SPS members if you are interested in joining.
