I E E E
Welcome
to Kettering's IEEE Student Chapter Page!
Why you should join the IEEE!
The IEEE at Kettering has three major objectives:
1. Educate students
We plan to do this by scheduling seminars on pertinent topics, whether a quick
class on how to create a home page, scheduled times for seniors to talk about thesis and
capstone projects so that freshmen might learn what they will be doing in a few short terms,
or even bringing in speakers. To begin, we have created this
resource page.
2. Encourage ECE participation in student projects
Many Kettering students are well-aware of the Society of Automotive Engineers
projects. But few are aware of projects sponsored by IEEE and
other groups.
3. Encourage communications between the ECE department and students
This is the area where you need to help us.
How you can help us serve you better:
You can help us, both by providing information on what we should be doing from
your point of view as well as volunteering to help. Please contact Aaron
Lancaster via a peg (note: I am B-section, but check email daily), email
(lanc4511@kettering.edu)
, or phone (810.232.9155 @ the
Lambda Chi Alpha
house). What feedback we receive will
detemine what we plan to do next term. Even if the only way you can help
by volunteering doesn't relate technically, but rather to publicity or
other areas, great!
Please email us at ieee@kettering.edu
