An NSF supported summer workshop is planned for the summer 2002 and summer 2003 at Kettering University. The emphases of this workshop is on Surface analysis, using XPS (a.k.a. ESCA), Raman Spectroscopy, STM and AFM techniques for solid materials, including electronic materials. To learn more about this see NSF summer workshop web page. The Spring
1999 Meeting of the Ohio section of the American Physical Society
(OSAPS) was held at Kettering University. This marked the very first time
for an OSAPS meeting to be held in state of Michigan, while OSAPS is serving
Ohio and all the neighboring states. This meeting was held during April
30-May 1, 1999 at the campus of the Kettering University. The local chairs
and local organizers of this meeting were professor Greg Hassold and professor
Bahram Roughani.
