Name: Laura Ann Confer

Hometown: Davison, MI (It’s about 15 minutes from

Kettering, and I still can’t find my way around Flint…)

Birthday: June 6, 1984

Major: Chemistry (with a weird bioengineering twist that Rachel and I made up)

Graduation: December 2006, I was having so much fun at

school I decided to stay longer, no really, I did

Co-op: General Motors, Materials Testing Lab in Pontiac

Favorite Alpha Phi Memory: I love the memories I have of just hanging

out in our apartments.  Throughout my years as an Alpha Phi I’ve

had a variety of different girls that I’ve lived with.  We’ve sat in the kitchen

for hours learning everything about each other, dealing with drama and

boys, and just being close friends.  We’ve been obsessed with Charmed,

Law& Order, the Golden Girls and any other random thing we find.  I love being

able to laugh all the time about nothing and how easy it is to make any boy that

dares to enter the living room completely uncomfortable in less than ten seconds.

(The boys at Kettering aren’t exactly used to being in a room filled with girls.)  It’s

great to come home everyday to find something random going on, which is

a great break from the day, or go across the “hall” to the next apartment

to see what everyone else is doing.  Either way, I love knowing that I’ll

always find someone to laugh, cry and just be with when I come home.

Favorite Color: Pink, but I’m trying to branch out.

Hobbies: I’m a craft freak, it gets a little out of control at times.

Big Sis: Deana Rainwater

Little Sis: I was blessed with two! Megan Mulligan and Jen Lucier

Music: I have the most random music collection… I keep my

Eminem CD’s next to the Ya Ya Sisterhood soundtrack just to keep

things a little crazy…
