The Student Counseling Services and Health Center have engaged in a collaborative and
cooperative relationship to promote and support programs and services designed to address
modification and maintenance of successful health behaviors.
Wellness is a life long, life style growth process. It is the right and privilege of
everyone to achieve the highest potential for well being. It is the integration of body,
mind, and spirit and the appreciation that everything a person does, thinks, feels, and
believes has an impact on mental and physical health.

It is time to verify your health insurance coverage – Verify your coverage by July 30, 2008
Note: Kettering unveiled a new procedure for verifying student’s healthinsurance coverage, on July 1, 2007. The University now requires students to submit proof of insurance through a third party, The Maksin Group. Students who fail to provide proof of insurance by the end of the waiver period will automatically be enrolled in Maksin’s Student Accident and sickness Insurance Plan at a cost of $476.00 semi annually.
All students both A and B sections will be able to complete the next waiver period starting May 1, 2008. The deadline to complete the waiver process is July 30, 2008 (coverage is from July 1, 2008 thru December 31, 2008).
