Alumni Reunion Weekend brings old and new together
Lacrosse games, car shows and old friends highlight the Kettering Alumni Weekend May 17 to 19. Don Barefoot '77, Alumni Reunion general chair, said the reunion is a chance for alumni to experience the "exciting changes" occurring on campus as a result of the recent $100 million capital campaign.
"The old GMI is rapidly becoming a bright new Kettering University without losing its unique dedication to a superb professional co-op education," said Barefoot.
Plans for the weekend include a Lacrosse game against Alma College, the annual Firebirds Classic Car Show on "the beach" and new this year, an all-Corvette car show.
In addition, the Kettering University Alumni Association will recognize seven alumni for professional achievement, service and human relations at a dinner Saturday, May 18, at the Flint Golf Club.
