Staffing, Facilities and Services
TechWorks has professional management trained in best practices
incubator operation. We leverage the Kettering faculty, local and state entrepreneurial support providers,
and dozens of volunteers. Excellent office and contract laboratory arrangements are offered, with a new
wet/dry lab complex for incubator clients to be completed by Spring 2010. Services and activities are
provided for companies at different stages of development, from business concept and technology
assessment, through education and business planning, into active growth, investor attraction, and then
graduation into self-sustaining, new employers in the Genesee County region.
Client Management
Prospective clients are interviewed for fit and needs evaluation. A formal application
and selection process helps ensure that appropriate choices are made. Client progress towards
graduation and compliance with program and tenancy requirements is being tracked and reported using the industry standard incubator management system.
