Scheduling a Test

  • Test proctoring is available to students that are unable to complete testing during regularly scheduled times whether due to extenuating circumstances or because of disability accommodations.
  • The role of the center is to assist (but not replace) faculty in providing students with testing accommodations. Ultimately, the responsibility for administering testing lies with faculty.
  • While the center will make every attempt to accommodate faculty requests for specific testing times, a request may not be accommodated due to limited staff, space, and/or time.

Students who do not complete 12 credit hours in one term or do not earn a term or cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 may be placed on probation. The university has two levels of probation. Students can be kept at the same level for several terms if they make cleear improvements but do not fully reach good standing.
Probation Level 1
On level 1 probation, students are offered support services and probationary advising. Students can choose whether they want to accept assistance.

Services for Faculty/Staff

Editing is an independent review of a written document with a focus on clarity, format, grammar, and mechanics. All editing changes are provided in the form of electronic comments and suggestions that can be either accepted or rejected by the author. While the editor may suggest clarifying certain sections of the document, the content of the document is the sole responsibility of the author. Editing services are provided by professional staff members and are free to Kettering faculty.
