All students are required to send copies of their official immunization records with the Health & Medical History form. Graduate Assistantship Program

What is the Graduate Assistant Program?

A Graduate Assistantship provides academically-related employment for eligible graduate students.  A Graduate Assistant can refer to either a Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) or a Graduate Research Assistant (RA).  A weekly time commitment of 20 hours can be expected; however, actual time commitment is based on the project requirements.  Benefits of the program include a stipend and tuition waiver each term.

Master's Thesis Information

Master's Thesis Process

1.  A student pursuing a master's degree at Kettering University must choose whether or not to write a master's thesis, consistent with the requirements of the graduate program and the student's degree program.  Students in the bachelor/master's program must choose whether to write a bachelor's thesis (Option 1) or only a master's thesis (Option 2) no later than earning 8 credit hours of graduate credit.

2.  It is the responsibility of the student to find a faculty advisor willing to supervise work for the master's thesis.

The National Photonics Initiative is a collaborative alliance among industry, academia and government seeking to raise awareness of photonics - the application of light - and drive US funding and investment in five key photonics-driven fields critical to US competitiveness and national security: advanced manufacturing, communications and information technology, defense and national security, energy, and health and medicine.
